We improved how AutoTest handles programs that exceed their allotted execution time. Previously, timed-out test runs could result in confusing error states. Now, AutoTest gracefully detects when a program has timed out and presents it with a clear warning state and helpful messaging, making it easier to understand what happened. Any rubric results collected before the timeout are preserved and included in the final output, so partial progress is not lost.
